Ordering & Payment

We ask that you review your order carefully, as it cannot be modified once submitted.

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email that includes your order number and an approximate order total. Click here to check the status of your order.

While you may see a preauthorization on your selected method of payment, you will not be charged until your items are ready to ship from our warehouse. Your order may ship in multiple packages, but rest assured you will not be charged any additional shipping and handling fees. The shipping and handling fee you were quoted at checkout will be prorated and applied based on the value of each individual shipment.

Please note that we are unable to process your order if we cannot obtain an authorization from your credit card company. You will be notified by email if there is an issue with your payment. We will keep your order on file for 48 hours before it will be cancelled. Please respond quickly; merchandise cannot be held for your order and may become unavailable.

We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, China Union Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Afterpay, Klarna, Link, and Anthropologie, Maeve, and BHLDN gift cards and e-gift cards that are issued in USD.

Payment Issues

If your payment method was declined, it may have been unsuccessful due to incorrect information, card expiration, or insufficient funds. You can choose a new method of payment and contact your bank or the credit card company if you continue to experience difficulties placing your order. For further assistance, please contact us.

Gift Cards & E–Gift Cards

Gift cards may be purchased online or in US and Canada stores. E-gift cards may be purchased online and will be emailed to your recipient within approximately one hour of your order. You will receive an email confirmation once the e-gift card has been sent. Don't want to send it right away? You can also choose a future date of email delivery!

Gift cards and e-gift cards are available in select amounts from $25 to $2,000 and are only valid for redemption in the currency they were originally purchased.

Shipping methods for Gift cards are as follows: Standard Shipping via USPS First Class Mail, Express Shipping via USPS Priority Mail, and Overnight Shipping via FedEx. Unfortunately, tracking information is not available for these methods. Express and Overnight shipping is not available for P.O. Boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, APO/FPO addresses, or international mailing addresses.

If you are experiencing difficulties entering your gift card, or have a gift card without a pin, please call our Gift Card line (1-800-920-5656) and allow 24-48 business hours for a response.

If you have purchased items that are now on sale, we will gladly offer you a one–time price adjustment on full-price purchases only. Please contact us with an original sales receipt within 14 days of original sales purchase.

For online or phone orders, contact us. Please note that price adjustments for online and phone orders cannot be made in stores, and price adjustments are not applicable to shipping charges.

If your item(s) have already shipped, your price adjustment refund will post to the original payment method in approximately 1-3 business days after the processing date. If your item(s) have not yet shipped, your order total will reflect the adjusted amount when you are charged. If you return an item that has been price adjusted, you will be refunded the adjusted amount.

Price Differences

We make every attempt to have consistent pricing throughout our catalog, website, and stores. Occasionally we offer website-exclusive promotions, but we will gladly match anthropologie.com prices in our stores.

Sales Tax

We are required to collect sales tax in all US states as required. Additionally, we are also required to collect tax in Puerto Rico and Australia.

CO Retail Delivery Fee

Effective July 1, 2022, Colorado imposes a retail delivery fee on all deliveries by motor vehicle to a location in Colorado with at least one item of tangible personal property subject to state sales or use tax.

The retailer or marketplace facilitator that collects the sales or use tax on the tangible personal property sold and delivered, including delivery by a third party, is liable to collect and remit the retail delivery fee. Deliveries include when any taxable goods are mailed, shipped, or otherwise delivered by motor vehicle to a purchaser in Colorado.
